Errhmm ... Okay. The mail never leave the client machine. Set the "relayhost" in your sendmail config to the IP/name of your IMAP-box. The IMAP-box (with postfix) should be configured to accept mail from your local network. If you are not sure what i talk about i would recommend to buy a book about mail & DNS to get a start.
