I have just notices something in my syslog which is quite worrying! I get the
following line logged at frequent intervals:

.... locking disabled: couldn't open socket lockfile
/cyrus1/cyrusconfig/socket/imap-1.lock: No such file or directory
(my wrapping)

/cyrus1/cyrusconfig is declared as the configdirectory in my /etc/imapd.conf.

My socket directory is actually at /var/cyrus/socket/, which is what exim uses to
connect to LMTP.

Why is cyrus looking in the wrong place and why did the install not create the
socket directory in the configdirectory?

What do I do to fix it? Can I just create "socket" in my configdirectory?

Phil.
