AWSOME! Thanks for the help everyone. It seemed that the "/var/spool/imap/stage" folder had the wrong permissions. I never messed with them as far as I know, but anyway it works now.

From previous posting it was to be seen that you did something strange with xinetd and an imap service which does not exist in FC3.
