No. If you have a suggestion for how to do it without touching the prot_stdio layer that would make this much easier to know and limit (and test) impact of. Actually I think Ken had an idea, which if he did and he reminds me of I'll implement.
If I did, I don't recall. Perhaps I made note of it in bugzilla?
