Hi Gary,

I notice that the TLS cache database is not being updated:

  # ll -t *.db

  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 12786596 Oct 30 16:36 mailboxes.db
  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 1515520 Sep 27 04:00 tls_sessions.db

It is being read:

  # ll -tu *.db
  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 12786596 Oct 30 16:38 mailboxes.db
  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 73179136 Oct 30 16:38 deliver.db
  -rw------- 1 cyrus mail 1515520 Oct 30 16:38 tls_sessions.db

TLS sessions show up in the log. Cyrus master runs `tlsprune' at
0400, which corresponds to the last update time. `db_dump' says that
the database is empty. What could have happened? This is with
cyrus-imapd-2.1.14. I do get occasional error messages logged that
refer to this database, but only about once a month. Here are the
most recent ones:

  Oct 27 15:38:53 electra imapd[25366]: [ID 729713 local6.error] DBERROR:
opening /imap/conf/tls_sessions.db: Invalid argument Oct 27 15:38:53
electra imapd[25366]: [ID 729713 local6.error] DBERROR: opening
/imap/conf/tls_sessions.db: cyrusdb error

I'd guess that it's corrupted somehow. I would try to remove it. Upon a restart Cyrus creates a new one.

Cheers, Sebastian
