after deleting a whole bunch of messages from my INBOX (and expunging/purging trash), when i inspect the /var/spool/imap/b/user/bryan directory i notice that the messages are still there. they are also still in the trash folder as well. they are no longer displayed in the client (squirrelmail or evolution), however. this also happens when i copy a message from one folder to another -- the message no longer shows up in the client but it doesn;t get removed from the spool directory on the server.
