Is postifix authenticating to LMTP? or is your mail client authenticating to Postfix? Either way, I recommend using lmtptest or smtptest to trouble shoot. You can find them in the cyrus-imapd distribution. To further trouble shoot with us, please provide (sanitized) copies of the following: postfix syslog of a good and bad email delivery attempt any corresponding imapd/lmtpd syslog entries any corresponding auth syslog entries (cyrus sasl) Also, please provide your imapd.conf configuration, or at least the output of 'grep sasl /etc/imapd.conf', your postfix sasl configuration if appropriate (the contents of /etc/postfix/sasl/*), and your postfix lmtp/deliver configuration. -- Dan White ---- Cyrus Home Page: http://cyrusimap.web.cmu.edu/ Cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyrusimap.web.cmu.edu/twiki List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html
