Can the testing be done prior to the 8th grade? Use the tests to assess at the end of the 7th grade year?Yes, testing can be done at 7th grade- NCLB said they must be technologically literate"by" eighth grade, but you can assess that proficiency earlier if you choose.
Do districts have to complete a technology plan, like in prior years?The technology "plan" should be incorporated into the district CSIP, however, an annual budget is suppose to be developed and sent to the AEA for approval for E-rate purposes.
