ALL
districts need to have FCC numbers! They need 1 number for the
district and 1 number for each building as listed with your BEDS report.
The minimum number of FCC numbers a district will have is TWO! All FCC
numbers were to be turned in with your E-Rate 471 Item 21 Attachments, and
applied for BEFORE you submitted your 471 form.
I have numbers from 16 District. That means 38 Districts WILL NOT RECEIVE there E-Rate
Funding in the 2005-2006 school year unless immediate action is taken
now!
It takes less than 3 minutes per FCC numbers to
apply. The URL for the site is:
Most of you have your district FCC numbers
now. In the process of Registering additional building you will get an
error message stating that your State ID has already been used. This is
normal. Follow the directions to continue with registration.
When you have all your FCC registration Numbers
please send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]. Failure
to send them to Lisa will result in your district paying full price for all ICN
Video Classes.
Please feel free to call me if you have any
problems with applying for your additional numbers.
The Following districts we have all the FCC numbers
for. If your district name is not on the list
then you may loose your erate funding unless you get your FCC numbers
NOW. This information need to be to the AEA no later than
Friday March 11th.

Subject: FCC NUMBERS NEEDED ASAP!!! I realize that you are having difficulty
collecting this info. However, you can inform the district(s) that:
2) There 471 application will not be
reviewed/approved without the required FCC numbers. Thank you for all your help with this. It is very much appreciated. Deb ______________________________________________
Subject: FCC NUMBERS NEEDED ASAP!!! This is yet another reminder that I need to have FCC numbers for each district, admin site, and building(s) included in the school districts in your region. There seems to be some misunderstanding of what is actually required. The rule of thumb to follow is: 1 number for the district, and 1 number for each building in the district that has it's own street address. School District (encompasses all buildings in entire district) Each building in district (for the video/scheduling and Part III circuits consortium apps that the DE has filed, we require FCC numbers for the educational sites in the district only; however for those of you filing E-rate apps for telecommunications and circuits, etc., you need to include all buildings in your district). Please get your FCC Numbers to me quickly! They are needed for the Item 21 attachments that are included with 471 consortium apps filed by the DE. Debbie Fiscus
