Are the IP addresses the same as well? Are they getting addresses via DHCP? This is just a guess, but if the printers were off all summer, and they get addresses via DHCP, the DHCP lease might be up and they got new IP addresses. Glad to hear you are still kicking around over there!

year!): Throughout the district, I set up multiple computers. In connecting them to printers via IP protocol, I am having success with some and failure with others. I printed off the printer configurations for the printers, and they are exactly the same. This has been happening in all the buildings. I am working with OS TIger on the Macs, and either HP 4100's or 4000's. I have found a way around to print by using Appletalk, but really wanted to get away from this as much as possible. Do I reset the printers and try again? I even downloaded printer drivers to see if that would help but no luck. Anybody with more expertise than me? Thanks much! -Jackie |
