Iowa AEA Online – EBSCO Proxy Changes

(Note: The person maintaining your network will know if the information below will impact your EBSCO access.)

EBSCO, an Iowa AEA Online resource provided to your school by Iowa AEAs, want to ensure that all proxy users are aware of an upcoming change and that you make the necessary updates in applicable proxy configuration files, to facilitate smooth, uninterrupted access to EBSCOhost databases.

A domain change has been made.  For the convenience of its customers, EBSCO plans to maintain an automatic redirect of http://search.epnet.com through the summer of 2007.  Customers who do not use a proxy server, and who choose not to update their links once the change becomes official, will have plenty of time in which to do so, because of EBSCO's automatic redirect.

PLEASE NOTE:  Although search.epnet.com will continue to be valid via a redirect through 2007, proxy users MUST ADD the *.ebscohost.com domain to their proxy configurations in order to ensure uninterrupted access to EBSCOhost. Please DO NOT REMOVE *.epnet.com from the existing proxy configuration files.
