If you like that you should check out the Ultimate Boot CD. It includes
the Windows Memory Diagnostic plus a plethora of other troubleshooting
tools.

Subject: [info-tech] Windows Memory Test Program...

Good morning-

I always loved troubleshooting computers for these hard to find problem.
We have run into our fair share of memory gone bad here in Fort Dodge,
and we have always used the trial and error method for find the problem.
Here is a Microsoft Memory Tester from one of my morning e-rags to help
test that RAM and motherboard memory systems for any errors. Hopefully
it will save you a little time and frustration.

Have a great day!!!

Jeremy

Test your memory

Recently Tom started experiencing some weird problems with his primary
computer. Windows would reboot by itself for no reason, programs
wouldn't install, etc. After a lot of weeping and wailing and gnashing
of teeth, he was able to track down the problem: some of his memory had
gone bad for some reason. He switched it out with the RAM from another
computer and the problems magically disappeared. Memory problems can
emulate many other problems, though. If you suspect you might have bad
memory, you can use Microsoft's Windows Memory Diagnostic to test your
RAM for errors. Check it out at
