Q: Do the old administrative codes still work? A: Yes. Q: I have a number of student/staff letters that I printed last year. Will these registration codes still work? A: Yes.
Q: Are all school staff eligible - secretaries, aides, custodians, bus drivers, etc. A: Yes. Q: Are preschools eligible? A: A preschool meeting all of the following criteria is eligible: i) is an early childhood program incorporated for the purpose of providing education services to children between two and five years of age and which serves a minimum of ten such children, and ii) has been in operation for at least one year. Q: I have a district with several buildings. Does it matter which registration code I use? A. No. My suggestion, based on past experience, is to use the high school code only. Microsoft and the IEC do not care which code is used and it simplifies the process. Q: Why would I use Option One rather than Option Two? A: Here are four reasons: 1.. The primary reason for preferring option one is that the process markets the purchasing opportunity to all students and staff. The school helps promote the offer. 2.. Students and staff can order the minute they have the letter giving them their unique code. They are preauthorized. 3.. Option 2 may take up to 48 hours before the student or staff member is verified as being an Iowa K12 student or staff. 4.. Option 2 is designed for an individual staff member or student who is in a district that is not providing support for the program. 5.. The program is most success ful when a letter is sent home with other important information, such as report cards.
