Yeah. I have been working with them now for 4 years so I kind of understand a little bit about that part. Well I will just have to see what they say to it.

Please look at page 13 of the install manual I sent a little while ago so that you understand how it will setup under terminal services before you buy it. You probably have the same install manual included with the demo software. For example a teacher using the media center with her class can blank the screens of the thin clients with say a message like "eyes on the teacher please". Then she can release the screens when ready. Keeps them from screwing around and not paying attention. It is also very reasonably priced.. The media center person can watch the desktops lock the keyboards, snap shot the screens , etc. From: info-tech-ow...@aea8.k12.ia.us [mailto:info-tech-ow...@aea8.k12.ia.us] On Behalf Of Mueller, Mitch Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2009 9:26 AM To: info-tech@aea8.k12.ia.us Subject: RE: [info-tech] Terminal Services Desktop Management Ok. Well than maybe I should have stated that we would like to watch the screen of the terminal clients. We used to have syncroeyes but that does not work with thin clients. It uses VNC (I use Ultra w/ encryption) It is a download that is really cheap. I bought 1 admin license for $59. It works pretty well, and you can do a bunch of scripting things with it. I do not use it with the thin clients we have. For those I just hop on the thin client server and remote control them. It saves a bunch of trips to the other buildings because I just remote in when possible and fix things and walk people through things. The software is updated often (I think I have had 4 last week) to fix bugs and add features. Then best part is the kids know that I can pop on there computer at any time, so every time the screen flickers they think it is me looking in on them. <evil laugh>lol<evil laugh> Thanks, Chad Frerichs Director Of Technology Okoboji Community Schools Milford, IA 51351 -----Original Message----- From: Mueller, Mitch [mailto:mmuel...@emmetsburg.k12.ia.us] Sent: February 04, 2009 11:22 AM To: info-tech@aea8.k12.ia.us Subject: [info-tech] Terminal Services Desktop Management Anyone out there know of any programs that allow you to do desktop management with Microsoft RDP or Terminal Services.
