We're using the 8e6 R3000 for remote filtering. Works awesome, but probably
not cost-effective for just a few students. Still, if you're doing a 1:1
next year, you're going to want something like this anyway, maybe go ahead
and get it going now?

Subject: [info-tech] Filtering and IEP students

Ok I was just told that I need to have laptops for two students to
take home, due to their IEP.. Ok fine. There needs to be a filter on
their internet traffic when they are not at school... Not so fine. I
need to have the laptop ready for Wednesday at the latest. Oh yeah, it
needs to be free. Ideas?
Laptops are MacBooks running 10.5

1) Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and
ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2) Anything that's invented between when you're 15 and 35 is new and
exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3) Anything invented after you're 35 is again the natural order of
things
