We use Dreamweaver and it suggests that you insert this type of information as
one builds the page. A pop up appears and a description of photos, etc. needs
to be entered. This can then be read by electronic readers. I tell my
students to enter the information each time but I know it does not always get
done.

We have the opportunity (read: required) to have an equity visit as
part of our regular site visit this year. As I am going through the
check lists, there is a lot about accessibility of tech and
specifically the website. How many of you have a website that is truly
accessible for the blind, and if you do what/how did you do it?

Luddite by Degrees
1) Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and
ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2) Anything that's invented between when you're 15 and 35 is new and
exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3) Anything invented after you're 35 is again the natural order of
things
