We are pretty much exclusively Optoma projectors throughout the district - as I upgrade from the mix and match I first started with. The more recent purchases I have made have an audio out port and we just use basic "computer" speakers in the classrooms, which have worked well thus far - we also still operate off of carts in the middle of the room. I am sure we'll make something work as we now begin the final phase of mounting projectors from the ceiling.

What projectors are people using in the classrooms? Plus, are you utilizing the built in projector speakers or are you using external speakers of some kind? My question on the speaker is really, is a 7 watt projector speakers sufficient for a classroom? Thanks, Chad FrerichsDirector of TechnologySpirit Lake Community School District
