As much as I like Cyrus for so many years, it seems as it is not well
support from most distros in any current version. I can recommend to use
Manjaro - a bit more complicated and be careful when updating but at
last it is possible to install recent versions. Otherwise it might make
sense to switch away from Cyrus.
OpenSuse wrecked my Cyrus install beyond repair, so I switched to
Manjaro which was the only one where I could find and make sure that
Cyrus 3.10 is available. Seems like other distros have it, but not good
documented.
Also, it seems that most webmail client softwares switched to Dovecot
(which was crap when I started to use Cyrus, but now seriously
considering to switch).
Cheers

Hi,
The server is Debian 12 and cyrus from the pkg :
ii cyrus-common 3.6.1-4+deb12u3 amd64 Cyrus mail system - common files
Any clue ?
The most recent 3.6 version is 3.6.7,
https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/blob/master/README.md says „Versions
3.8 to 3.10 still receive security updates, and some non-security bug fixes.“.
So: Ask Debian.
Yeah...well that's does not answer me why he does that.
Through google I didn't find any related problem like that. The only issue
appear almost 10 years agos.
Regards
JAS
