I have a brand new system just build my me.

I have it all working with one problem.

Win98 does not "see" the CD drive.
It shows under device manager, but under MY COMPUTER it does not exist.

I copied the drivers to the harddisk and load the driver with the autoexec and 
config.sys and only THEN will it work fine.

I uninstalled it from windows and win did not auto detect it upon reboot, nor will it 
"see" the CD drive when I manually install it fron WIN.

As I said the ONLY way it works is when I load the driver using autoexec.bat and 
config.sys

Win refuses to see the drive by itself

Suggestions ??
