Lee,
This is no hoax or anything. It's just an internal invisible message kept
on your mail server. I get one of these messages every day:
Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 09:17:20 -0500 (CDT)
From: Mail System Internal Data <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Subject: DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA
X-IMAP: 0972396995 0000070835
X-UIDL: 83440c7749cdd916f0fb40e77ed3177a
Status: RO
This text is part of the internal format of your mail folder, and is not
a real message. It is created automatically by the mail system software.
If deleted, important folder data will be lost, and it will be re-created
with the data reset to initial values.
It means nothing really. I get the messages when I go onto my mail server
and into pine and delete the messages I've already downloaded at home and
work. There's no harm in deleting the message from Eudora, OE, etc.
Holly
