I too have been getting hit for weeks by some stealthy spam that escapes
filtering and blocking by Brightmail, my ISP, and I cannot do so with my
software. I mentioned this in an *informant* message yesterday. The spam is
one of the reasons I have switched to this current email address and
different computer.

If you haven't deleted it, please read my message I posted to this mailing
list yesterday with the subject header "Lack of security in the Windows
operating system - The Back Orifice". I do not know for sure, but, I have a
hunch that perhaps this stealth spam I cannot filter or block may be caused
by one of the sinister hacker programs mentioned in that message.

I too am a licensed Technician-class amateur radio enthusiast but do not
utilize my call sign as an email address. I cannot therefore associate my
spam with yours, but, perhaps, who knows....maybe the stealthy spammers
obtained a list of intended victims from the easily obtainable contact lists
of call-signs associated with the FCC and other databases.
