First try putting a sheet of plain white paper behind it and scan. Then
darken it if you need to. That might work. Good luck,

I would like to scan my wife's drawing, but she used my tracing paper pad
(so thin you can almost see through it) and a mechanical pencil (very
light).
Any ideas of how I can scan this into a jpg or gif and darken it up without
changing the original look of the drawing? A black and white image is ok.
She is artistic but not an artist so recreating the work may be impossible.
This drawing turned out pretty nice though.
