super computer sharing system? I hadn't heard about that. Care to
elaborate? I would be interested in learning the details. Where would I go

I've had cable access since 9/99 and love it. It's been extremely
reliable with only a few hours outage and some minor email
downtime. The company is Cablevision and their online division
Optonline
My husband who is online an hour or two a day uses Earthlink and
enjoys their service for $19.95/mo unlimited access. Nice start
page, free web site and snail mail news magazine.
After jumping from free service to free service he decided this
was best. Those floating bars on the free service are a nuisance
to say the least. Juno gave up their $9.95/mo service and jumped
the price to $14.95/mo and I pretty much told them what they
could do with it. *G* Their proprietary email is as bad as
AOHell and now with the super computer sharing system they are
implementing, it's just too much!
Networking did not work out for us. They have a new system in
place whereby they can tell how many computers are on the same
system. We are just not in the position to pay for an additional
cable setup and monthly fee.
