find another computer and download the dos version of f-prot antivirus from
www.datafellows.com borrow a boot floppy from someone else and make sure you
write protect it before putting it in your machine. You may have a boot
sector virus. Boot using a clean write protected floppy and run the
antivirus.

I am working on a computer that keeps giving a drive is working in msdos
compatible mode,error. I have tried all the fixes on the Microsoft site and
have even totally redid the drive,fdisk and reformat and am still getting

message after reloading windows 98 2e can anyone tell me how to get the
msdos
