A couple weeks ago I think someone posted a web site that enabled on to painlessly upgrade Internet Explorer by downloading the precise files needed rather than trying to negotiate the mind- numbing maze of the MS site. Does anyone still have that reference? (Mea culpa I lost a bunch of of email files while trying to import my programs from one hard- drive to another). On an unrelated matter, a while ago I recall a thread on file splitters. In that connection I've recently discovered a neat freeware file splitter others might find useful. It's unique feature is that besides splitting large files in the conventional manner it also creates a batch file for rejoining them. This allows computers without this program to rejoin the split files back together simply by running the batch file. You can check it out and download here ==> <http://www.steveperkins.net/development/applications/splitter/inde x.jsp?category=applications> gil gilmore ---- * Message Board: http://www.theMezz.com/tech/ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] url: http://theMezz.com subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] digest: [EMAIL PROTECTED] notDigest: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ==^================================================================ EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?b1dhsJ.b1LEke Or send an email To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This email was sent to: [email protected] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
