I have at least one file downloaded which shows a
long name in Explorer.
It cannot be deleted: trying to do so causes
a Page Fault and Explorer has to be aborted.
I suspect that the problem is that some hapy jerk
has found a combination of characters
which can be written as a file name, but which then
appears as illegal and not removable.
The file cannot be renamed with Explorer or Rename,
a program usually used to rename MP3 files.
I have looked at the W98 knowledge base at MS, no
luck there.
Can anybody help me with this?
