Good morning Rita
It is Never a good idea to run more then one antivirus program at
the same time! It is advisable however to have more then one
program available. Run your preferred antivirus program on a
regular basis continuous scanner and your secondary as a backup
on demand/second opinion scanner to double check suspect items as
well as for regular routine system scans, Just be sure when
running the secondary program that the first is Disabled so no
conflicts can occur
The reasoning behind this is antivirus programs tend to treat
files differently and if you have two antivirus scanners trying
to scan the same file(s) at the same time you may end up with
corrupt/unusable files.
I do hope that helps
