Does anyone know I can change your details on ICQ, specifically my age? I
installed ICQ when I was 20, now I am 22 and I figure, I might as well
change it... I use a program to backup my settings when I reinstall windows
so I don't lose my chat history, contact list etc, and I don't want to lose
it all just to change my age.

Try clicking on the ICQ button on the bottom left of your ICQ screen, then
choose View/Change My Details. Choose More from the left menu, and then
remove your age from the right side. Then click OK. Since ICQ versions
vary somewhat you may have to look around a little if yours isn't where I
described, but it will be within that window in one of those lists.

Hello,
I just went in my ICQ to see how to do it. I went to view/change my details and
where your birthday info is change the year. This made the age change, I just
put it back to the year I wanted and it was now correct! If you can't get the
year to change just make the entire birthday part blank and when you try to
close that screen it'll say your birthday info is incomplete and you'll be able
to correct it. Hope this helps!

Thanks! That was the problem alright. I had never entered a
birthday. I had not thought of that... Maybe I had just seen the word
zodiac in the title of that box and thought I don't want anything to do
with that...
I thought it was a little wierd that there was a drop down menu to
allow me to change my gender if I wanted, but I couldn't change my age!
