I once found a little freeware app that let me made selected apps minimize to the tool
tray and not the task bar.
Anyone know of this app?

Here's a little piece of freeware that can sit anywhere on the desktop. It can be
resized, the color changed, given a transparent background and 'always on top'.
Why another piece of software that tells time when you already have a clock in the
taskbar you ask? This one shows the seconds. It's called the Ghrone Translucent Clock

Hmm...I remember one of these programs, but not the name. I used it once
and it wasn't too bad. I'd have to search for the name of it though.
Maybe someone else knows off the top of their head?

TrayIt! sounds like the app you're looking for.
Single click on the tray icon to minimize/restore the enabled application.
