"Abstract: Europe's 19 million small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are increasingly seeing key business-enhancing technologies as the way to beat the competition. Mobility, network security, broadband connectivity and IP telephony are all seen by European SMBs as key "must have" technologies that help address key business challenges. These challenges range from keeping up-to-date with market developments, finance, and meeting regulation to implementing new business processes and retaining / recruiting key staff plus the key challenge of meeting the competition head on."
