CARTOONS ON THE BAY
FESTIVAL In
the spirit of public service that characterizes RAI Italian TV, RAI Trade
organizes Cartoons on the Bay. Cartoons on the Bay, International
Festival on Television Animation at its 10th edition, calls experts and people
interested in cartoons from all over world. EURO
<26 CARDHOLDERS JURY IN
POSITANO In
the framework of the wonderful Costiera Amalfitana, one of the most
impressive panorama in Italy, five EURO<26 cardholders will be asked to actively participate to
the event building up a youth Jury and realising drawings,
photos, short videos and other visual material. The
members of the jury will assist to all 40 projections of cartoons in
competition and take a part in every events, workshops and press
conferences organized during the Festival. HOW TO
PARTICIPATE Participation
is open to all Euro<26 holders aged between 18-26. Young
people will be asked to send a letter of motivation with a CV in English
within
26 February 2006.
Applicants have to show interest to visual communication and they have to be
talented with writing composition and drawing, photography, employment of camera
or new technologies. The
candidates are requested to send a proof of their talent: a drawing, a
picture, a photo, a short video
The profiles required are: photographers,
journalists, cameramen, comics drawer. Material
will not be sent back. Documents

participants will be informed on the result of the selection on 10 March 2006. PARTICIPATION FEES
Rai
Trade
will provide with the lodging and food for the participants and with the
transfer from Naples to Positano. Other travelling fees will not be
covered. Associazione
Carta Giovani
will be in charge to organize and to take care of the participants from their
arrival to their departure, giving them assistance when and if needed. DATES
