The challenge is to become an easily accessible service explaining emerging science and technology with simple and scientifically valid graphics.
Job description
The position requires the understanding of high scientific level of topics related to applied physics, chemistry or biology. The candidate must successfully integrate in a dynamic work environment including communication officers, scientific analysts and graphic designers. We are also looking for candidates interested in understanding specific fields of applied sciences (e.g. laboratory instrumentation or high-tech fabrication techniques). Scientific Analysts are required to quickly understand topics beyond the university curriculum and create accurate and pedagogical graphic representation scenarios.
Job requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, Physical Engineering or Chemistry. PhD degree is considered a plus.
- Advanced written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Good pedagogical skills.
- Participation in (undergraduate) research projects.
- Experience in scientific editing/journalism will be appreciated.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Participation or prizes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry of Biology competitions are considered a plus
