Our Client, one of the largest retailers in Europe is running a "Talent Acquisition for Procurement" program to find now collaborator. For our Client we are currently searching for a Procurement Assistant with German. Main responsibilities: · Set up the procurement function within the organization for the core business (store locations and centralized deposit) as well as for the internal needs of the company; · Plan, co-ordinate and manage the procurement for all (technical) equipment needed in line with the procurement strategy and group quality standards; · Implement procedures to ensure a clear and transparent procurement process in accordance with group rules and guidelines; · Establish relations with the equipment suppliers; take, examine and analyze offers of products and suppliers; · Negotiate with suppliers the terms and conditions and participate in the selection process; · Propose service providers for maintenance and technical support to make sure that the technical equipment in all locations is always properly functioning; · Organize a proper maintenance of the locations and supervise that the services are rendered on the quality level agreed and within set budgets; · Monitor that all installations in the operated outlets are proper functioning and arrange for the regular service by the responsible companies/technicians; · Keep close contact to the outlet managers and arrange and organize needed repair works with the respective contractors; · Take care about the insurance of the locations; · Build and manage a trustful relationship with the suppliers and service providers in order to ensure a good and long term collaboration; · Collaborate closely with the international procurement department in the mother company to develop concepts with the suppliers for keeping latest technical standards; · Build up a team according to the expansion strategy in order to be able to keep the high quality standards etc. For applications and any other questions please do not hesitate to contact [email protected] </mc/[email protected]> Please note that German is a must!
