(IMO not a good idea. There is a strong case to be made for local clients/storage. However, wrapping everything in a browser probably gives MSFT (or other vendors like them) the ability to monitor and/or monetize the user experience and data metrics generated therein. And yes, I've been jokingly accused of being a 'neanderthal' for still preferring to use a local mail client as opposed to web-based email. --rick)
