If you are using FusionMail then you will need to use SMTP Authentication when you relay unless you configure the sending server in the SMTP Allowed IPs setting. Since CFMAIL does not support SMTP authentication then you will need to use the Allowed IPs setting or use CFX_iMSMail as Ben mentioned. You can also configure the Relay server for CFMAIL support.
HTH, Howie Hamlin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Starbuck" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "inFusion Support List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 08, 2007 11:31 AM Subject: [iMS] Help with SMTP and Relays I am trying to use cfmail to send email out of IMS but I keep getting the error of Warning: Unknown user: and then the email address of where I was trying to send it. Everything works fine if I try to send it to someone in my system, but trying to go out doesn't. Any ideas?
