thank you for your help,
I already use the reportPostStatus template to process bounces,
and my post server is set up the way Kim suggest:
 
Max Delivery Time: 22 hours
Initial Delivery Warning -1 minutes
Delivery Warning After 90 hours
 
But I always receive a message from IMS server for every recipient that 
fails:
 
From: inFusion Mail Server
Subj: Undeliverable message

Your attached message to ****** could not be delivered.
I said "RCPT TO: *******  and ******** responded:
blah blah blah
 
(with the original message sent as attachment...)
 
......
 
Any help appreciated...

Massimo,

You can use the iMS SMTB (b for bounce) server to process asynchronous 
bounces--those bounces that come back in email form rather than occurring at 
the time of the SMTP exchange.

For real-time bounce processing, iMS DOES return the bounce information to 
the reportPostStatus template. You should look at the documentation for that 
to learn how to get the result (success or bounce with type) of each message 
sent.
