Hi All,
Has anyone seen WARNINGs like this before:
12/21/2000 10:05:05 AM [837] WARNING: Unable to update MX in control file
71FB6664FAD5D411A2C8_5BFB6664FAD5D411A2C8.mbx
12/21/2000 10:11:45 AM [801] WARNING: Error reading control file [Files does
not exist] B9FA6664FAD5D411A2C8_99F86664FAD5D411A2C8.mail. Removing from
queue.
I noticed them when IMS Post slowed down this morning. I restarted the POST
service and everything ran fine.
IMS also slowed down a couple days ago. When the service slowed down the
last time, we noticed that it was in the process of moving control files
from the OUT directory to the QUEUED directory. Once all of the files
finished moving, the POST server picked back up.
Has anyone ran into this before? If so, any suggestions? We are looking into
checking the hard drives for fragmentation, but we aren't so sure that
defragmentation is the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
