I just installed and got iMS running on a new server and have noticed that
when I try to connect to it with a pop client or try to send email thru it
with a 3rd party email client that it takes some time to authenticate. I
have included a bit of the POP3 log below, as you can see I hit the server
at 11:07:02 AM, but didn't connect until 11:07:19 AM. Just a few seconds
but still quite noticable. Using same code I have on a different server and
don't have this problem, any idea why this might be happening? Has anyone
else run in to this? Server is a Windows 2000 Advanced Server running
ColdFusion 5 Pro.
