I was under the impression that the problems I've been having with dynamic
failto were related to using the emailfile= parameter of the tag. I've
rewritten the my code so that I explicitly call out all the fields. This
seems to have helped, as failto now is dynamic most of the time.
However, in the case where the MX fails, it doesn't appear to work. So if
you have
cfx_imsmail
query="my_query"
queryfield="email"
failto="failto-<:ident:>"
qtoken_ident="user_id"
etc.
if one of the address in the query is [EMAIL PROTECTED] (not .com), it
bounces to an address called failto-<:ident:>, instead of filling in the
ident variable.
I realize that there's some way to get the information I'm looking for in
postfail, but would like to handle this consistently (and I'd prefer to just
have the ident variable I'm looking for).
