I run iMS-SE version 2.4.5 on a dual Pentium (600Mhz) W2K Server with 1Gb of RAM. I have been running the 255 thread license with no problems. I contacted ODS sales and received a demo license to test the 1024 thread version (we need more speed). It does appear to send much faster, but it also seems to take over the machine so that no other process can be started. When I attempt to start any program (configurator, cmd, notepad, etc.), I get the following error in a popup:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142)" I cut the configured threads on the Post server down to 512 and it appears to be running OK now. What is the error? If I am going to pay for 1024 threads, I would like to be able to use them all. Has anyone seen this?
