Subject: [iMS] extra registry
keys
Hi
Howie,
We have been having
problems with one of our SMTP servers. It keeps crashing from time to time.
When we restart the service, we get " WARNING: Fatal error - Cannot open
SMTP Socket [25] (Sock Listen) [10048] Address already in use." The only
service using SMTP is IMS. The only way to resolve the issue has been to
reboot the machine. We never have this issue on our other SMTP server which
has an identical configuration.
The only difference we
can find is that the crashing server has extra keys in the registry. Could
these be causing our problem? Is it ok to remove them? I have listed the
keys and their values below.
"SMTPEnableSandbox"=dword:00000001
"SMTPVScanTemplate"=dword:00000000
"StatsLog"=dword:00000000
"StatsLogFmt"="%rip %td - [%date] GET /%sn.%td/
HTTP/1.1 200 %ms %sf \"%cl\""
Thanks in advance for
your help,
Marc
