iMS does not support that part of the smtp protocol.  The reasons are because, besides not being mandatory, you can't rely on a mail actually being delivered in this case.  However, if you need this support we can build it in as an option for the next release which is currently being worked on.

Hi all,
 
    Having an issue with a client's email server.  The message is trying to be delivered, but encounters: 251 User not local; will forward to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
 
    At this point it looks like the iMS server disconnects and logs a couple WARNING lines in the log.
 
    Any ideas as to how to make iMS deliver?
