Just to explain that, FYI, when you enter your user/pass for setting up the DSN, that 
user/pass isn't actually stored.  It's used to connect to the DB you're setting up the 
datasource for and "help" you choose settings.  I don't think it's actually required 
to know a user/pass just to set up a datasource.  That's why CF still needs to know 
how to log in (could also be specified in each CFQUERY).
