We're in the middle of integrating a bulletin board package with this list that will provide archiving and searching. Everyone on this list now has an account on the bulletin board - you can see your login name at the bottom of this email. You account has a random password which you can request here:

The current user names are a variation of your email address and can be up to 25 characters in length so you may want a shorter login.
