Many open-source projects have that around in summer. Take, for example, 
gtk-qt-themes, which is an important project not only to me (many distros 
include it by now): The period between 0.6 and the actual 0.7 was a long one. 
I can't imagine that the development of InitNG would not continue -- there 
are simply no alternatives. We cannot just go back to System V Init. ;-) 

I like to dig into the InitNG source code btw, perhaps I can commit a patch 
from time to time. :-)
