You see - every option that has a form of "aaa=bbb" is considered to be a kernel option. So "runlevel=foo" form is not working from kernel boot string, because kernel does not pass it to the initng. That's why I've added "runlevel:foo" long time ago. > > >> I want some discussion on this... > >> > >> It's a good idea? > >> > >> -------- Original Message -------- > >> Subject: Re: [InitNG] #557: boot option "runlevel=my_default" is not > >> working Date: Sun, 07 Jan 2007 00:59:59 -0000 > >> From: InitNG <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >> CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >> > >> #557: boot option "runlevel=my_default" is not working > >> - > >> - > >> --------------------------------------------+--------------------------- > >>--- - Reporter: anonymous (alekibango) | Owner: ismaell > >> Type: defect | Status: assigned > >> Priority: normal > >> > >> | Milestone: InitNG 0.6.9 Component: > >> | Feature > >> > >> Requests Initng Source | Version: initng-0.6.0 Severity: minor > >> > >> | Resolution: > >> > >> Keywords: | > >> - > >> - > >> --------------------------------------------+--------------------------- > >>--- - Changes (by ismaell): > >> > >> * status: new => assigned > >> * owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] => ismaell > >> * milestone: => InitNG 0.6.9 > >> > >> > >> Comment: > >> > >> Well, who needs runlevel=x if we could use --runlevel x, then the > >> problem is gone. > >> > >> I will modify that if nobody has any objection. > >> > >> -- > >> Ticket URL: </ticket/557#comment:2> > >> InitNG <> > >> The Next Generation InitSystem -- Best regards, Sergey A Saukh
