Hello folks, has anyone some information about Ubuntu's upstart project? I just found this in launchpad [1] and this blog entry [2]. Seems as if they really want to replace SysVinit in edgy. Is there a team developing this stuff, or is Ubuntu paying someone for sitting in a dark chamber ;-)? Why can't I find any sources or example scripts?
Maybe this is the wrong place to aks, but I just want to know what Debian knows and thinks about this project.
