I have noticed in my lenny laptop that readahead runs BEFORE udev coldplug, stalling for a few seconds on disk reads.
Could we do both concurrently, or break it in two (udev readahead; udev coldplug + normal readahead)? -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
