Hello board, As discussed last board meeting, I'd like to reopen discussion regarding sponsorship levels.

For reference we've received the following donations at the >= $1000 level: Inkscape Conservancy 15-Feb-12 Elementary LL $ 1,000.00 05-Aug-17 F. Gyger € 1,786.50 € 198.50 16-Dec-08 Worksoft $ 1,806.43 $ 193.57 Our donations typically range from $1 to $500. Very roughly, we seem to get multiple donations at the $1, $5, $10 daily, $20 and $50 weekly, $100-300 every few weeks, and $500 a few times a year. Some of the accumulated suggestions I've seen, which should be considered in this update: * More benefits at the higher levels * A tangible reward in reach of individual donors (i.e. ~$500) * Better specificity with the website acknowledgement rewards How do you think we can expand our sponsorship levels? I'll incorporate suggestions and we'll re-vote in a few weeks. We'll then need the levels wordsmithed into a nice looking web page to detail the sponsorship levels. Bryce ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Inkscape Funding Levels For Sponsors ------------------------------------ 1. Principles ============= Inkscape wishes to acknowledge and encourage donations from sponsors. This proposal establishes a set of funding levels with given rewards. 2. Levels ========= The following levels are established (in US$): Diamond Scribe: $20,000 Platinum Pen: $10,000 Golden Brush: $5,000 Silver Quill $2,000 Bronze Stylus: $1,000 3. Rewards ========== 1. Acknowledgment with logo on "Our Sponsor Page" (one year) 2. Acknowledgment with logo on our home page (one year) for Silver and above levels. Logos must be 160x80px and non-animated. SVG's are encouraged. Logos must be non-political and non-offensive with the Inkscape board and SFC being the final arbitrators of suitability. 4. Non-monetary Donations ========================== Non-monetary donations are also accepted and may, with board approval, qualify for one of the above rewards. A general rule is that $5 worth of services is equal to a $1 cash donation. Significant non-monetary donations not qualifying for a reward will be recognized in a general "Thank You" section on the "Our Sponsors" page (as is the current case). 4.
