Hi, I think I've finally sorted out the working with files chapter, as discussed with Joshua I only included the most commonly used file types and moved all the rest to the Glossary. Feel free to check it out and tweak it where necessary.
I also wanted to discuss the use of diagrams in the manual, I had mentioned this some time ago but haven't put much attention to it till recently when I was looking at the recently upgraded FM Firefox manual. I really Like the style and layout they use in the Interface Highlights/Overview chapter to give an overview of the firefox window and think that that would be a good style to use for the Inkscape manual. I appreciate any Ideas or Suggestion before I go and change all the graphics in the manual.
